Inter, Persib & Kongsi Akademi Club Top Europe In Asia

Not only Inter Milan and Persib Bandung, as many of Europe’s top clubs are ever or are developing a young age development business in Asia.


Inter cooperation with Persib Bandung has just announced this early start, precisely on Tuesday (13/2) then. Through this collaboration, students of Persib academy can enjoy Inter-style coaching methods. However, as the first stage, Inter first held training for local coaches. President Erick Thohir wrote Inter academy opened the opportunity in different cities in Indonesia. Other Asian countries Inter’s locations to open the academy are China, Saudi Arabia, and Japan. In total, Milan’s academies are spread across 25 countries around the world, involving more than 37,000 children, and more than 1,500 trainers.


Thanks to sponsorship relationships that support Balinese funding, PSG has opened an academy in Bali since 2017. The PSG Academy teaches children from six to 19 years old and the French capital club carries former Portuguese striker Pedro Pauleta as a great academic envoy. Arsenal had also reached Indonesia in 2007 by establishing a football school. With the “Playing The Liverpool Way” marketing strategy, the Red Merseyside club has academies in four Asian countries: the United Arab Emirates, India, Japan and South Korea. In India, Liverpool opens the Players Development Center; while the newly opened branch in 2017 in Japan in collaboration with Nishimachi International School. Liverpool had also opened a football school in Indonesia in 2011. The Reds also has an academy in Australia. If searched more deeply, Liverpool did not open a few international academies in many United States elements.


Since 2013, Chelsea has collaborated with Guangzhou R & F to build young Chinese players in Meizhou. The area dubbed “China’s soccer enclosure” was considered perfect in developing seeds of superior players. The joint venture with R & F is a massive expansion part of the Blues following Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.

El Real also has an academy that operates in Singapore. Indeed, Madrid had a football school and plans to open an academy in Bali, Indonesia, in 2008 ago. Unfortunately, the plan did not continue.


Barcelona also has an academy in Asia. Not to be outdone by Madrid, Blaugrana since 2017 has a young football development center FCBEscoles headquartered in Haikou, Tiongkok. A similar concept has already begun in many Asian countries, like Singapore, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, India, Japan, and Australia. FCBEscoles once started in Indonesia in 2012.


The academy concept is interesting because it is not owned or affiliated with a particular club, but directly controlled by La Liga Spain. Similar concepts have been previously known public football United Arab Emirates. The academy there is the only one in the Middle East area. The players are accompanied by La Liga coaches and counselors. In addition to having the opportunity to attend a lesson camp in Spain, all students also have the opportunity to get a football scholarship in as many universities as the United States.

The La Liga Academy has been in operation in Indonesia since 2017. While not offering scholarship opportunities, this academy provides an opportunity for participants to enjoy the training methods of all UEFA certified trainers. The academy in Jakarta is the one in Southeast Asia.
